Does the Virtuabotix GPS sensor use DGPS?

I noticed you use a u-blox 6 (neo-6m-0-001)  receiver for the Virtuabotix GPS and wanted to know if it used DGPS (Differential GPS processing) for improved accuracy.

The Virtuabotix GPS uses the NEO-6M-0-001 from U-Blox, which uses a partially differential GPS algorithm that is advertised to provide at least 2.5 Meters of repeatable accuracy. That is significantly better than the nominal GPS accuracy of 15 Meters (you can learn more about DGPS here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_GPS ).

Even better the NEO-6M-0-001 has GPS + SBAS capability that can delivery additional accuracy by using more sattelites then just the GPS constellation (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS) and can provide 2.0 Meter repeatable accuracy in areas with less obstructions where access to these other satellite signals is possible.

I hope that answers your question, and look forward to seeing the projects you put together with the Virtuabotix GPS.
