I am trying to program the Versalino Nano just like the Versalino Uno and it’s not working.

I am trying to program my new Versalino Nano and I followed the directions for the Versalino Uno exactly. I keep getting error  avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00

What can I do to fix this?

The most common cause of this problem is having the wrong board type selected. If you are in fact following the directions on the Versalino Uno exactly then you have selected Arduino IDE -> Tools -> Board->”Arduino Uno”.

What you should actually select is: Arduino IDE -> Tools -> Board->”Arduino Nano W/ ATmega328″.

Hope that helps to resolve the issue, the other thing to check is that you have the appropriate serial port selected, and that you haven’t plugged the FTDI in backwards.
