Featured Customer Project: Night-Time Cornhole Toss

In a quest to extend game-play of cornhole toss into the wee hours of the night, a solution was sought out to contend in even the most dimly lit of locations. Having just received my first Versalino, I saw this as a fitting excuse to nerd-out a friend’s boards. Using water-resistant colored LED strips, a Versalino, and some transistors, I created multiple effects on the 6 Versalino’s PWM channels and amplified the voltage with the NPN transistors. This small package was all easily mounted on the underside of the cornhole boards.

Next up is creating effects when a score is made (most likely using an IR sensor in the hole), and remote-controlling the effects with a phone using the BT2S-Slave.
