Shortly after posting this, the servo tester mysteriously committed suicide. But, it was nice while it lasted.
Before yesterday I never knew they existed, but after writing drivers, and burning them onto PIC chips over and over and over again over the last couple years… This new tool has earned a special place in my heart. It allows me to test each servo individually; gives me an easy way to adjust parts and ensures that I am aware of the normal range of operation. (I have a habit of pushing those buggers a little further then the manufacturer suggests). All you need to do is get a battery pack and of course a servo. I used 4 double A (AA) batteries in an external battery housing.
Hope this helps someone out there!
